Diamond lacing method for shoes with a unique pattern
If you're looking for a striking and unique lacing pattern, the "Diamond" lacing method is definitely for you. This technique, ideal for shoes with 7 or 9 holes, not only creates a visually appealing look but also offers a secure and comfortable fit. Combined with our 6mm flat elastic laces, you'll get not only beautiful style but also optimal comfort.
Step 1
Place the shoe with the toes facing you. Thread the laces from the inside out through the bottom eyelets, so that the lace tips point outward, creating a straight line.

Step 2
When looking at the shoe from the front, pull the right lace diagonally toward the left eyelet, skipping one eyelet. Pull the lace through the eyelet from the outside to the inside.

Step 3
Repeat step 2 on the other side of the shoe. Then, pull the lace through the eyelet you skipped earlier, from the inside out. Repeat this on the other side. The pattern should now start to resemble a diamond shape.

Step 9
Pull the laces through the last eyelets from the outside in. Then you can tie the laces with the desired closure, depending on the type of laces you have. For elastic laces, you can find the closure instructions on our elastic lace instructions page.

Finishing for elastic laces
For elastic laces, use a twist-off cap to secure the ends. More information about the different types of lace closures can be found on our website.
